Eligibility:

Scholarship Description: Xiamen University offers scholarships for doctoral, master’s and undergraduate applicants. Scholarship awardees will have their tuition fees covered (a maximum of 3 years for doctoral programmes, 2-3 years for master’s programmes, 4-5 years for undergraduate programmes). Meanwhile, the University provides monthly living allowance for outstanding master’s or doctoral candidates in accordance with the Chinese Government Scholarships. The awardees’ academic performance will be assessed each year and only those achieving the required standard will have their scholarship renewed for the following year.

2012 Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) for Postgraduate and Postdoctoral Students, Malaysia, Deadline: 30th April 2012.

Eligibility:-Not be more than 45 years of age during application.
-Obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5/4.0 at Bachelor Degree Level for Masters Degree applicants and for PhD candidates must possess CGPA 3.5/4.0 or very good result at Masters degree level in a similar field of intended PhD study. In addition, for post-doctoral programme, the selection will be evaluated based on the number of books produced, refereed/non refereed journals, portfolio and patent copyright. The Post-Doctoral candidate must have excellent reputation in research and possesses knowledge related to the research to be carried out.
-Took one of the following English Language Proficiency Test not more than two years before the date of application. The list of tests and minimum scores required: – IELTS Academic Test with a score of at least 6.5; or -TOEFL paper-based test with a score of at least 580 or computer-based test with a score of at least 230 or internet-based test with a score at least 92.
-In excellent health condition and certified by a Certified Doctor/Medical Professional. The cost of medical examination is to be borne by the applicants
-Wrote a proposal that is relevant to the needs and interests of Malaysia (research-based programme only)
-Has applied for and gained admission to postgraduate and post-doctoral studies in Malaysia (conditional letters of offer will be accepted at the time of application or has a confirmation of acceptance or affiliation with the universities in Malaysia).

-Be Non-Chinese citizen
- Be in good health to successfully undertake and finish the program of study.
- Return to their countries of origin and reside there for at least two years upon completion of the program of study in China.
-Undergraduate: -Applicants must have senior high school diploma with good academic performance and be under the age of 25.
- Graduate: Applicants must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
- General scholar candidates must have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies and be under the age of 45, and may study all majors except the Chinese language.

Scholarship Description: The purpose of the Scholarship and Training Programs of the Organization of American States (OAS) is to help the Member States in their efforts to achieve their objectives of integral development while supporting the development of their human resources in priority areas of the Organization. 36 High Potential Scholarships Masters Program for Non-Eu / EEA International Students, Netherlands . Deadline: 1 March 2012

Eligibility:
Applicants must come from a country outside the EU/EEA, meet the requirements for obtaining an entry visa and residence permit for the Netherlands and must have obtained excellent results in their studies. Applicants must be admissible for a master’s programme or graduate programme for professionals at Maastricht University and must not be older than 35 years at the start of the academic year (1 September 2012). They may apply simultaneously for a master’s programme and this scholarship.
